"La Traviata" at Harpa Music Hall Reykiavik

This is a short and not nice story.

We asked Reykiavik Opera House - better known as Harpa Music Hall Reykiavik - for 2 press tickets. The manager answered that:

So the company payed for airplane tickets and reserved the hotel - only for me at the beginning, because my coleague was not sure if will come.

But, after a few days, the manager wrote:

I am sorry to tell you but the press tickets are all finished at this point,

so I would not be able to ensure you tickets for La traviata.

We explained her that we already payed for airplane tickets and reserved the hotel, but she didn`t care a bit and rudely she didn`t answer us anything!

When I arrived, I asked at the ticket office about a press ticket and the lady from the office gave me but... later the manager canceled it!

So it didn`t count for her what she promised, not even the fact the I flyed over 8000 km (my coleague refused to come when he saw what kind of people we are dealing with), not even the fact that there were many empty seats! The big Harpa Music Hall Reykiavik couldn`t afford to spare 35 euro (the minimum ticket price) for an article which would be read by many important personalities in opera domain in Romania! (Should I say, as a comparison, that just the road by bus from and to the airport is 48 euro? ) But not the ticket is the problem, but the meanless promise.

So this is my article about "La traviata" at Harpa Music Hall Reykiavik.
