The highly anticipated 2024–25 season is less than two months away—get your tickets now for a star-studded lineup of powerful new works and enduring classics. Opening September 23 with two-time Tony Award–winning composer Jeanine Tesori`s Grounded, starring mezzo-soprano Emily D’Angelo (pictured), the season features four company premieres and captivating new productions of Verdi’s Aida and Strauss’s Salome. Audiences can also take in a dozen not-to-be-missed revivals, from popular favorites like Rossini`s Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Puccini’s Tosca to lesser-heard masterpieces like Beethoven’s Fidelio and Strauss’s Die Frau ohne Schatten.

Porgy and Bess Returns to Cinemas
Back in select movie theaters for encore screenings on Wednesday, August 14, bass-baritone Eric Owens and soprano Angel Blue headline the Met’s landmark presentation of Porgy and Bess. Conducted by David Robertson, the Gershwins’ great American opera takes the stage in a vivid production by James Robinson, with dynamic choreography by Camille A. Brown. International dates may vary.

2024–25 Live in HD
